opsapp

Is opsapp a fit?

A straight answer on who it's for and what it doesn't do, before you onboard.

Great fit if you…

  • Sell on Shopify
  • Pack from one warehouse
  • Do 100–1,000 orders a day
  • Are COD-heavy
  • Worry about COD & RTO reconciliation
  • Care about packing accuracy

What it doesn't do

  • Purchase orders & procurement
  • Accounting / GST filings
  • Customer tracking portal
  • Mobile apps, RFID hardware

Coming soon on the roadmap, not dated

  • Marketplace integrations
  • Multi-warehouse
  • Analytics
  • AI ops assistant

If the "great fit" column describes you, onboarding will be smooth. If you need things from the "not built" list, this isn't the right tool for you.

Great fit if…

  • You sell on Shopify (that's where your orders live).
  • You ship through Shiprocket (any of its courier partners).
  • You fulfil from one warehouse / one packing location.
  • You do 100–1,000 orders a day: big enough that spreadsheets hurt, small enough that you don't have a WMS team.
  • You care about COD workflows (confirmation calls, remittance matching, RTO handling).
  • You want packing accuracy: the system won't let an order be marked packed until each item and quantity is confirmed.
  • Your team works on shared computers/stations with different people per shift (PIN login, roles, audit trail are all designed for this).

Works, with caveats

  • Personalised/made-to-order products: well supported (the packing screen shows names, colours, charms per item), but if your personalisation data lives outside Shopify order attributes, talk to us first.
  • Multiple Shopify stores: one store per workspace today.
  • Couriers outside Shiprocket: Shiprocket is the only courier connection today. If you ship directly with Delhivery/BlueDart contracts outside an aggregator, this won't drive them.

On the roadmap (planned, not dated)

These are coming, but they are not in the product today. If you need one right now, we're not a fit yet:

  • Amazon/Flipkart/Myntra marketplace integrations (Shopify only today).
  • Multi-warehouse stock allocation and transfers.
  • Analytics: profitability and performance dashboards.
  • An AI ops assistant that watches your floor and flags problems.

Not built (on purpose)

These are deliberate omissions. If any of them is a must-have, we're not a fit:

  • Purchase orders / vendor management / procurement.
  • Accounting: no invoices for your CA, no GST filings. (Order data exports cleanly; your Shopify/Shiprocket invoice flows keep working.)
  • A customer-facing tracking portal or WhatsApp automation suite.
  • Native mobile apps, RFID, conveyor/scale hardware integrations.

Questions to ask yourself

  1. "If I search any order number from last month, do I want everything about it on one screen?" That is what the app is built around.
  2. "Have we ever shipped a wrong item, or found stock counts we can't explain?" The packing gate and stock ledger exist for exactly this.
  3. "Do parcels ever get 'picked up' on paper but sit in the warehouse?" The dispatch scan catches this the same day.
  4. "Am I okay running my floor from a browser?" There's no offline mode; you need working internet at the warehouse.

If that sounds like you, read what you need before onboarding.
